Rowax E is a hard ester wax with the crystalline structure. It is very pale yellow in color, and it can be buffed to a high gloss. It is easy to be saponified and emulsified, which means that it is mainly used in its saponified form in leathercare products, polishes and abrasive pastes etc. 
Rowax E can also be employed in solvent-based wax polishes to provide extra hardness and gloss. It can also be used to give a somewhat softer consistency to polishes prepared from Rowax OP, which has a high solvent-retention capacity.

Polishes: 
Rowax OP is a hard, partially saponified montan wax derivative. The most outstanding features of this wax are its high retention capacity for solvents such as mineral spirits and turpentine oil, and its high gloss. It can absorb up to twenty times their own weight of these two solvents without becoming liquid.
    Rowax OP Flakes are used in high-quality solvent-based wax polishes for floors, shoes, furniture etc. 
Plastics processing: 
Rowax OP Powder is a lubricant for PVC with internal and external properties, although the external lubricant effect predominates. It is a particularly effective lubricant for rigid PVC in calendaring, extrusion, and injection moulding and extrusion blow mouling. 
Filled polypropylene: 
Rowax OP can be used as a slip agent and dispersing agent for injection moulding polypropylene filled with talc. 
Other thermoplastics: 
Rowax OP can be used as slip agent for impact-modified polystyrene, ABS and phenolic resins.
